Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga
Hatha is a general category that includes most yoga styles. It is an old system that includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises), which help bring peace to the mind and body. Vinyasa is a type of yoga that links movement and breath to attain balance in the mind and body. From the Sanskrit “to place in a special way,” vinyasa aligns a deliberate sequence of poses with the breath to achieve a continuous flow.
Restorative Thai Yoga
Thai yoga is an ancient healing system combining acupressure, Indian Ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga postures that brings balance and relaxation to the body while moving and remoblocked energy.
Each session is a hands-on comprehensive yoga treatment using facilitated stretching and healing touch to release stress, ease discomfort, boost the immune and circulatory systems while creating total relaxation.

Prenatal and Postpartum Yoga
Mama Yoga's prenatal yoga community offers nurturing open level classes that are specially designed to cater to the emotional, anatomical, hormonal and muscular changes that occur during pregnancy. Childbirth education and current birthing trends are woven into each class to help the new mother feel more confident and prepared during pregnancy, labor, and motherhood. Postpartum Yoga is a great way to start to reconnect with your body after the baby has come.
Restorative yoga uses props—bolsters, blankets and blocks—to support the body and soften muscles while holding gentle yoga poses. The focus is on deep and even breath that allows your nervous system to release and you drift into deep state of relaxation. Restorative yoga enhances flexibility; deeply relaxes the body; stills the mind; improves capacity for healing and balancing; balances the nervous system; and boosts the immune system. It also develops qualities of compassion and understanding toward others and self and enhances mood states.
